Cabin Time Stories was created to bring the magic of camp storytelling into homes, schools, libraries, and camps everywhere. Inspired by the friendships, traditions, and unforgettable moments that happen during cabin time, these original stories celebrate kindness, courage, imagination, and the lessons that stay with children long after summer ends.
Written by Hayley Miller Gothelf, a lifelong camper and Camp Director at Camp Starlight, each story draws from real camp experiences and the belief that stories have the power to build character, spark conversations, and create lasting memories. Growing up at camp and now helping lead one of America's premier summer camps has given Hayley a unique perspective on the moments that shape childhood.
The series is beautifully illustrated by Jenni York, whose warm, expressive artwork brings each character and every camp adventure to life. Her illustrations capture the wonder, humor, and heart of childhood, making every page an immersive experience for young readers.
Every Cabin Time Story is designed to be shared. Whether it's bedtime, story time, a classroom read aloud, or a rainy day in the cabin, our books help children laugh, learn, and connect with the people reading beside them.
Together, Hayley and Jenni have created a collection that captures the warmth of camp life while inspiring children to dream big, be kind, and embrace adventure.
